DELIVERY & RETURNS
Every effort has been made to ensure that products are presented as accurately as possible on our website. Goods are subject to availability.
WHEN PLACING YOUR ORDER
Make sure you double check your post/zip code when you are ordering, it will delay your order if we have to query an incomplete address. If you have a specific delivery date request, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate this.
Payments can be made securely online with Shopify Payments through Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Your privacy and security are assured. Our prices are in Pound Sterling (GBP), which means that international credit card providers and/or banks will determine the exchange rate and may add a processing or administration fee if your order has to be converted to a currency other than GBP.
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation email from Cool Trade Winds; if applicable, you’ll receive a tracking code shortly after your order is dispatched. We aim to dispatch your order within two working days, but if we have any queries (usually due to stock availability or an incomplete delivery address), we will email you and hold your order until we receive a response.
Please note:
All orders can only be delivered Monday to Friday.
If you order on a Friday after 10am, during the weekend or over a bank holiday, your order will be processed on the next working day so may take a little longer.

UK DELIVERY DETAILS
UK Standard – Sent with Royal Mail 1st class tracked service. A signature will be required on delivery. If you are concerned that your order has not arrived, please check if a ‘while you were out’ card has slipped between other post or behind furniture by your letterbox, and also ask your neighbours if they have received the package. Once these are ruled out, our next step is to check with your local Royal Mail delivery office (this can be found using your postcode at https://www.royalmail.com/services-near-you#/).
UK Express - Sent with DHL courier service with a signature required on delivery. Delivery time cannot be specified but will be within business hours. If you are not home, the courier will leave a card for you to rearrange delivery or collection. If you have any specific message about your delivery, please let us know and we will pass this on to the courier, though requests cannot always be confirmed.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY DETAILS
All orders are sent from the UK, so please note that international deliveries may be subject to import duties and taxes. Any charges for customs, import tax, duty or local sales taxes are the responsibility of the customer and will need to be paid before the order is released from customs. Please check with your local customs office regarding customs fees.
Europe/ROW Standard – Sent with Royal Mail International Signed For service in 7-10 working days.
Europe Express – Sent with DHL tracked courier service in 3-5 working days.
ROW Express – Sent with DHL tracked courier service in 3-5 working days.
All international delivery services are tracked with a signature required on arrival. Delivery time cannot be specified but will be within business hours. If you are not home, the courier will leave a card for you to rearrange delivery or collection.

UK: All United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland and Isle of Man.
Europe: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Irish Republic, Italy, Jersey, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland.
Rest of the World: Argentina, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES
We hope you’ll love your order. If for any reason you are not entirely happy, or you would like to exchange for a different size/colour (subject to availability), you may return the item/s providing they are unused, without signs of wear and returned in their original packaging. Items for exchange or refund must be returned to us within 14 days from the date you received your order. We can only accept returns for purchases made from www.cooltradewinds.co.uk; if your purchase was from one of our stockists, please contact them directly.

If we have unfortunately supplied your original order incorrectly, please notify us immediately with your order details and description of goods received.
If you wish to return an item due to a manufacturing fault or quality defect by Cool Trade Winds, please notify us with a description and photograph of the issue; this is so we can identify how best to resolve the problem for you, and also to feed back to our producers.
RETURNS
To return an item ordered online, here’s what to do:
- Make sure the item is unused, that the original tag is attached and that you’ve included a completed exchange/returns form in your parcel. Please note that any returns sent without the order/return paperwork and original packaging will take longer to process.
- Return your unused items to the address below. The cost of the return is the customer’s responsibility and we recommend using a trackable service (and keeping your receipt) as we unfortunately can’t be responsible for lost post. Please email info@cooltradewinds.co.uk to notify us of your return so we can look out for it. Please ensure you keep your proof of postage.
REFUNDS
Please allow up to 10 business days from the date we receive your return for your refund to be processed. All undamaged, correctly returned items will be credited in full via the original purchaser’s payment method. You will be automatically notified via the sales platform when the refund has been processed, although funds may take around 5 working days to appear on your statement (this varies depending on the issuer, especially for international cards).
If you are returning your whole order, we will refund the original delivery cost if applicable. For exchanges or if returning part of your order, the original delivery cost will not be refunded.
EXCHANGES
If you would like to exchange an item from your UK order, please contact info@cooltradewinds.co.uk with your order details and the size/colour of the item you wish to exchange your current item for, and we can let you know stock availability. Exchanges can only be made for different sizes or different colours of the same item; if you wish to exchange an item for a different product, please request a refund following the process above and purchase the new style in a separate order.
We will hold your preferred item for up to 14 days to allow time to receive your original item. Please follow the returns process detailed above.
For exchanges within the UK, we will cover the standard postage cost to send you your exchange item once the original item has been received and checked. If any subsequent exchanges are requested, these will be charged at our standard delivery rate. Please note that all exchanges are sent via our standard delivery service. Unfortunately, we are unable to process exchanges for international orders.
