Why Fair Trade?

We believe that even in our current climate it is our duty to ensure that we do not take advantage of cheap prices caused by poor working conditions or unscrupulous companies who take advantage of the underprivileged.

We believe in paying a fair price for our products and feel that it is price worth paying.

We strive to build ever stronger relationships with our suppliers, yes we may pay more than if we were buying mass produced goods. But through our relationship with our suppliers we are usually able find a solution to that always important price. An example of this is when our suppliers recommend different material mixes or sizes to us!

We are proud to support - Social Welfare Factories and small family run businesses in Nepal, Kashmir and Chile,Thailand and India. 

These societies are a safeguard for women who have come from a diverse background, the society encourages them to become self sufficient by training them with a variety of skills such as; material cutting, sewing, weaving, dying, business management and various other skills related to handicraft production.

They are also provided with classes in health awareness and taught the English language.
